If I were to drive to deer creek and fish.. (from the bank) where would be a good place to go and catch 15 or 20?

At the moment the only place you can fish is the spillway-Dam, the lake is iced over but not thick enough to fish.

I fished the spillway again 02/02, and caught saugeye daylight till I left around 2 pm. They were all small maybe had 5-6 I could have kept big enough to eat but didn't keep any. Had one big one to bank that got off ( of course ) looked like 3-4 lb. maybe. Fellow right next to me about 5 min. later caught one looked like good 5 lb. Those were only two nice fish I know of the day close by. I was usinfg a pink twister tail on black jig head under a bobber and the fellow next to me was fishing bottom , one jig head chart. tail and tipping with minnow. Never got a crappie all day but the saugeye were hungry.
