    Default Salt Fork 4/21

Hit up Salt Fork hoping for some slabs......and it didn't put up a bunch of keepers, but was a lot of fun for this guy Caught prob 40 in the 4 hours I was there. Caught them anywhere from suspended at 8 ft in 16-18 fow to 4-5 ft shallow flat. They weren't really holding close to cover. Anything I caught in against any wood was small.

I brought home 4 to eat........took a pic of one to show my appreciation for Nightprowler's Chin Spins. most of the fish were caught on chin spins fished vertically. 13, 12 3/4 and 12 1/2 were the best ones.

I guess I could add that it was split pretty even white and black. Didn't get any size on blacks though.

I went to Seneca sunday. I officially hate the lake. 2nd time there ever and while the weather sucked I still couldn't find a fish. I know nothing about the lake which doesn' help and fishing open water is foreign to me, but barely marked any fish anywhere. I tried a lil of everything in close to structure, out away from it couldn't find any fish other than 40-50 carp that were on the surface in a huge group near one tree I tried.

I didn't call him since I won't be fishin this weekend. I'm lookin ahead to Salt Fork and makin my $50 donation

I should also add that my brand new trolling motor is acting up, so I won't have it back in time for this weekend either....so that also doesn't help my chances of fishin the tourney. just my luck.
