    Default Mansfield


    I will be spending most of October in the Mansfield area. Can anybody point me to a close body of water to catch some Crappie? Not asking for any spots but would like the chance to catch a few. I will be boatless.

    Clearfork is close to there I believe, used to be good from what I heard.

    Pleasant Hill is a good crappie lake, mostly whites.

    I think Charles Mill's is close to Mansfield too, but I'm not familiar with bankin the lake. Oct can start getting good in spillways around my area, maybe it's worth a shot.

    Clearfork lake is 7.5 miles SW.
    Charles Mill's is 8.5 miles E/NE
    Pleasant Hill is 15 miles SE. in Mohican State Park
