What will the continued flooding do to the crappie spawn? Any thoughts on this? Man, it's been a long winter & now the river just won't go down.

Since the sauger bite picked up late winter to early spring the river has been up and raging and there is nothing better than a boat ready to go sitting around in the garage collecting dust. I have been fishing in some of the creeks and I have been using artificial no minners and I have not seen the crappie yet.

Turkey season starts Monday so I know the next 3 or 4 weekends I'll be busy. Heck, I've hardly had my boat in the water.
I hope work is slow so I can get out early 1 day a week.
