fished east fork today with CrappieCrazed... he fished with some jigs he made, they look very good and they caugth fish... i enjoyed the company...
we got off to a slow start... it took 15 min to get the boat off the trailer... it was frozen to the trailer from fishing sunday... it was a very slow bite... we only had about 30 to 35 crappie... we did end up with a limit of good keeper... we had a good bag, a mixed bag of black & white crappie... the upper end has a lot of ice we could not fish, the river, clover, poplar or cabin run they all had ice, we could not get in them at all

I had a good time and learned some things today.......... Its a shame there was so much ice because it limited us on a lot of fishing but we managed to have fun. Not sure how many of you have done 75mph on a 20 degree morning but it made my nads crawl up in my bung hole!!!! 250 merc is a far cry from my 90 merc for sure. Motor sounds sweet on that thing......

Its hard to meet a guy who invites you on his boat, supplies you with weedless jig heads, wont take money for gas, and buys your cheese coneys at gold star.......... The only thing I was able to help out with was the tip and I had to sneak that in. I had a good time and thanks again Larry......... Hope we can fish again some time......... So long as you don't make fun of My neon green line next time out!!! LOL

Now that's what I call a fishing partner. I don't know about that 75 MPH though. I'd be scared.
