    Default EF this weekend

Is anyone planning on hitting EF this weekend with duck season opening Saturday? I doubt I'll get out during the day, but I may try one last nightstalk so the hunters can have the lake during the day. If anyone is interested in fishing Saturday night, let me know.

Man, I wish I had the time I would join you for sure.
My granddaughter's 1st b-day is Saturday and the little womans is Sunday.

It's too hot for duck hunting. I saw 4 or 5 of those white ducks at the Bantam ramp the other day. Anyone have a blind over there:D

DUCK HUNTERS!!!???? Man, the heck with those guys. They are the reason we can't have our Classic at a decent time of year...at least one of 'em. They can look forward to sharing the water with me all winter long. If nothing else we keep the ducks from settling down in the baks of the coves. You'd think they'd appreciate having us out there keeping the ducks in the air. Just keep your head down if ya cross in front of 'em with ducks on the fly. Most of them guys are good guys truth be told ,and fishermen themselves, who could care less we are out there. Just be respectful of their space. Wouldn't be pitchin jigs around their decoys or anything.

All I have to say is if ducks were afraid of Fishermen, you would never see ducks on Eastfork lake. How many times have you been fishing and ducks swimming around your boat??? I certainly don't take any crap from duck hunters, just ask Fished Out.

just like fishing, a few idiots tend to get the rest of the group labled. As a hunter, i can tell you, guys running the lake are a welcome sight, keeps the birds moving. Just give them some space.
Couple duck hunters thought they'd be cute and fire off a couple rounds over-head at a bass fishermen, but it turns out some bass fishermen carry guns too...was a couple years ago, i was thinking it was lake monroe.

Yeah, I know. That was you who had one shoot in your direction wasn't it? Anybody stupid enough to shoot at someone deserves anything that happens to them.

I'm a witness. If you've gotta mess with duck hunters, go with Starvn'. He'll stand up and holler at 'em, giving you plenty of time of duck down (no pun intended....) and get out of harm's way.
