Went out today to do an inspection for a regular client in the area of the F3 from a couple of weeks ago. Luckily, they didn't have any damage. What was shown on the news just doesn't compare with what I saw. Less than a block away total devastation. A 4,000 SF brick home 3' off its foundation. Roofs off, 2nd floors gone Pine trees 3' in diameter twisted and snapped. my mother was from Texas and had seen more than a few during her time there and use to freak out when we had warnings, we use to laugh and tell her tornados like that don't happen here. Sorry we did that mom.

I'm only working a couple of days a month. Doing moisture testing on EIFS clad homes. Most of the clients are from my previous job. People staying on top of the issue by checking every couple of years. Makes a nice supplement to Social Security A lot of these folks I've worked for over 20 years, and they don't trust anybody else.
