    Me too.....and I have been retired for 17 years. I pay estimate tax every quarter and still owe more at tax time.

    I have to pay in 4 or 5 grand every year. Hearing that NC tax laws have changed and they are going to rip me a new one this time. Going to start on that madness in a week or two. I will be one ill mofo for a while behind that.CF

    Paid 35k in federal last year got 3k back and paid $1,500 in property taxes. Sucks!!! Over 50k ss medical and everything.

    just cost me bout $250 to renew my survey licence- its the "but its a fee not a tax" ones killing me! - shoot in this economy aint making no profits so dont owe a lot at end of the year buts the "fees" all year kill me!!
    My wife swears I only do enough surveying to support my hunting & fishing because I'm too busy hunting & fishing !
