I think we have to wait and see what we get. It's still up to the VDGIF to tell us what we can do on Sunday. I doubt it will be across the board "have at it"

unfortunately the VDIF regs will grow through time to address the slob hunters- in Pittsylvania Co. we have 1/2 county no dogs & 1/2 county w/dogs- I can say ive observed that after the rut (later in the season) the deer aren't quite as spooky on the west side of the county where dog running isn't allowed however I hunt both sides (im a stand and slip hunter) and my best deer came from the dogging side late in the season. That's the cool thing about hunting & fishing - it separates the men from the boys when it comes to ethics. Its easy to be ethical when in a crowd but what you do when no one can see you (in the woods or on the lake) is what tells the story. Ive known good honest dog hunters and stand hunters and ive known slob dog hunters and stand hunters. same thing with fishing. obey the laws and respect others & you wont have any problems- except with the slobs and the anticrowd!
