If anyone is curious, this took 6 hours and cost $750 before the tip.

That's a beautiful Tattoo George with a great meaning behind it, and a fine tribute to your lovely wife.

    Very nice work!

Makes me think I should probably have the 37 year old faded eye-sore on my arm recolored to spruce it up some.

With the current fad of tattoos, most without any worthy meaning, I see them in a poor light, although I have one myself. I got mine when I was 18 years old, fresh out of Navy boot camp. Many of us got them, I guess as a symbol of pride. Today many tattoos are not a symbol of anything to be proud of, but yours is a meaningful symbol of what is in your heart and soul. It is a tribute of love and honer to a precious time in your life. I know that the pain will never go away, but the love and memories will shine inside you forever.

    God bless,

    Bruce

TapOut64- don't know you man but thought bout you while hunting this morning- having read this thread a while back, it came back to me while pondering my wife's & I 35th wedding anniversary today- if something happened to her they'd probably have to put me down- keep on hanging in there man!!!! I'm be 58 years old next month & I've had 2 mind numbing, catastrophic events with family members- you'll never forget but believe me it will get better- you grow- hang in there man - I can tell from the pics, you'r a young man - your life will go on & you will be happy again- and it will be no disrespect to her when it happens- she would of wanted you to - don't know you from adam but from now on you'll always be in my thoughts- good luck-
My wife swears I only do enough surveying to support my hunting & fishing because I'm too busy hunting & fishing !

Thanks but at 50 years old I'm not sure how young I am.

I have never understood the craze all the young folks have for tattoos since they will probably change their minds many times. Yours, however, makes perfect sense to me. Sorry for your loss, but what a great memorial to her.
