That is sad.
I was at Anna last Sunday for some holiday weekend fishin'. By 10:00am the zoo was open for business with adolescent kids driving boats and wetbikes. We left at 1:00, I couldn't take the stupidity anymore anyway. From all I saw I should've guessed it would end in tragedy. It did.

For those that haven't seen water flowing out of dike 3 Its kind of like class 3 rapids on a river! Its the amount of water needed to cool a nuclear power plant. Fish love the area, but it seems only 99.9% of adults can tell it is not a safe place for kids!
I hope its not closed off for fishing due to this.
But for those that are thinking of fishing Anna. I don't fish Anna much of the yr because of (TONS of) jet ski's and heavy boat traffic. I am sure they have many boating accidents. When I asked the people who rent ski-dos and pontoon boats, if the person that renting the equipment have to have boat training, as required by law for "us" boat owners. He said "no, they only have to sign a wavier"
Prayers sent for both families. Every holiday it happens.
