I think Slab turned search off when the server got over loaded the other night.
For the last two days when I click on someone's profile and "find latest started threads or post" it says, "sorry no matches." Some nic's give me a few replies but even on my own it shows none. It use to show a whole lot more than one or two, or in some cases none.

There appears to be a problem. I get no hits for Tap, 2 for Ready, and 21 for "G" and I know all have many more posts than that. I'll bring it to Slab's attention.

Yep, I turned it off. There's a 1.3 gigabyte index for that search function that failed to get reorganized because it grew too large for the temp file system to handle the reorg. I have to expand that file system and recreate that very large index to fix it. And the recreation of that index will run for at least a day and a half.
So since this is the busy season, I don't have a window to run the rebuild in right now. We'd get "server busy" messages at night if that index rebuild process were running simultaneously.
And since we have work around for that search, I'm not even sure I want to add that functionality back in. What's broke is the "Advanced Search" and the "Find Latest Posts" by user.
Well, The google search can be used in the place ot the Advanced Search. If you want to search for a specific users post, you can simply include his name in the search.
And a users posts can still be found by looking at their profile (View Profile), then right under their "Activity" tab, click on their name. And there you can see their latest posts.
Thanks Ed.

I did a search for "Knots" yesterday and got several hits, probably not as many as there should have been?
