I told you on the phone, I'll say it again... your life just changed dramatically!!! This "CHANGE" is the best one you've ever made. Some fishin trips will be cut short and even missed, but its worth it.
Now, I cannot speak for anyone but myself, and I aint trying to get all Dr Phil on ya, but if ya kinda feel down in a few months, dont worry about it. The mama really gets more out of the new born than the man does. Yes you love him just the same but... well you'll see. I thought something was wrong with me as far my feelings went, I had twins, [one is hard enough to new parents, two is overwhelming] and I didnt get much outta the deal for a while. Work, change diapers, feed them, hold them, change diapers, watch em for a little bit and they go back to sleep, did I mention change diapers? BUT when they start acknowledging YOU..... boy o boy, it fixes EVERYTHING wrong in the world in your eyes. And it gets better the older they get. Just bare with mama for the first 6 months, the new born can kind of make the a little edgy. I dont know why ??? LOL

You got that right!!! My wedding day I killed three deer (damage permits) that morning down the from the house.
Feb 11 2007 I was in Camden NC, COLD! grey fox up a tree after an hour race, dogs have located the fox and had started treeing him. All I could think of was Jerry Clower "KNOCK HIM OUT JOHN." I was already in there with the hounds trying to find the fox for them and the cell phone rings "hello" - "hey, where are you?" - "I'm in Camden" - "having any luck? - "yeah, just run one up, trying to get to him now...why" - "um, we need to go to the hospital, my bags are already packed" - "HOLY $#!+, are you serious"? - "Yeah" - "OK, luv ya, I'll be there as quick as I can" - "ok-hurry up"
That was one luckyazz fox!! I loaded 14 hounds and was was home in 45 min!!!

Congrats, well for about a year Dayton won't be our shortest member.

Congrats Bennett!!!!! Dag gone, I sure am envious. 3 sisters, 2 daughters, and a granddaughter. 0 brothers, 0 sons, and so far, 0 grandsons. Way to go. By the time you take him fishing you will be the fishdoc of SE Virginia.
