Boat prices are all over the place. It make help to look at craigslist or Marketplace for your area and see what similar boats are going for. It has amazed me what boats have been selling for lately
I have 1995 Tracker Pro17 with 40hp Mariner. Motor runs good (cleaned carbs etc and drained gas). It has 24v/80lb motor guide foot controlled trolling motor. Carpet is worn in places and probably need replaced but cleans up well. Solid trailer with new bunks, good tires, new LED lights, and has a spare tire. Gauges don’t work. Live well and bilge pumps work. Lights work. It has two Helix 5 SI/DI on it but would keep them.
It’s a decent boat but I want little more hp to pull kids on tube and what not. What y’all think it’s worth, fair value? I was thinking $3k-$4k.

I have no idea, every time I see used boats posted for sale online the asking prices seem crazy to me. Yours seems reasonable so it may be too low.
I think a lot of the time people have financed the boat for 12 or more years and then when they decide to sell it 5 or so years later they just try to get what they owe on it but with it having been financed for such a long term they've barely paid down the principle and have to ask for something close to what they paid for it new.
I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.
