Hate to be the only one to reply to my own post but.... I figure the BMS in the lifepo4 battery doesn't recognize the motor in the knife.
Hooked mine up to my lifepo4 battery showing 13.25 volts. Nothing ! Hooked up to my 12 volt sla feeder battery....works. Repeat with lithium...still no workee. Sla shows 12.4 volts. Lithium runs my livescope but notice. Wassup?

12V should be 12V. Doesn't make sense to me unless you might have hooked it up backwards.
Tell'em I'll be there.Billbob LIKED above post
Nope. Would have thought as long as voltage was same it'd work. The lithium had more voltage than sla.only thing I can figure is the lithium has a bms to control it.

Isn't the BMS to protect the battery from in coming, or does it work both ways?

I have no idea but it will run my livescope but the knife acts like it's not hooked up. Just like to know why.
