Good news
I wanted to clarify some confusion about Grenada Lake and Governor Tate Reeves Executive Order and press conference yesterday. For all 4 Corps of Engineers Lakes nothing has changed. I talked to Chris Terry, Manager at Grenada Lake, and current conditions still apply. All trails, pavilions, parks, fields, playgrounds, Camping sites, the Visitors Center, etc. are gated and closed at least through the month of April. All boat ramps anywhere around the lake are open as is fishing at the Spillway on the North side. Access to the south side of the Spillway is closed. Until there is a directive from the State of Mississippi's Fish, Wildlife and Parks, there will be no change. The campground below the Spillway managed by Hugh White State Park is now closed. However, you can park on the North side of the Spillway and walk trails in that area. The Hugh White State Park Cabins are closed and will
not be taking reservations until further notice. I will keep you posted as I hear any updates. Gary Worsham, Executive Director, Grenada Tourism Commission. Call me at 662-614-4500 if you have any questions. Thanks.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I'm playing it safe with this heart condition. There are people out there on top of this that know way more than I do.This will give us all time to get closer to God, our families, and get all the honey do things completed that we have been putting off.Clean out the garage.Paint the house.Landscape the yard. Repair the fence.Get that boat and trailer in tip top shape. Sort out all that thousands of dollars of tackle we own. Put new line on our 100 reels that we own.Give them pig crappie a year to rest and multiply and get larger.Bank as much money as we can and hope we get a all clear by this fall.Prayers going up for all members of this site and their families that God will protect us and give us strength in this very hard time of our lives! And that God will heal this world and because of this we will become more caring people and realize just how good we do have it. Amen and Amen!

:11 PM Public lakes and reservoirs are closed but private lakes are open. Hunting is allowed as long as it's within the law.
Please be patient with us as we work through this
I just got this by email from Governors office.

I’m just getting over this. Had flu and corona at same time. Trust me you don’t want what I had. I’m free and clear as of tomorrow. I thought I was going to die last Friday and Saturday. Please take this serious. I was careful, washed and sanitized my hands often, didn’t rub my face. Still got it. You don’t want to bring this home over some fish.
On the other hand I’m immune now so I’m going fishing lol. Y’all stay home.
