    Default Fishing vacation destination?

Looking for a cool place for me and the ole lady to take a fishing vacation. I know it’s hard to beat the fishing here at home but we are looking for a change of scenery. where would be a cool place to go stay a few days and fish and do some other things? The trip will be the second week in June.

Buddy of mine did Amazon river float trip that looks amazing. They tow small barges down river, each one has a small cabin on it. Six or eight lashed together.

fly-in in Canada May be too early for fishing or too late to book
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Douglas lake in TN. Great crappie fishing and only a few minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. You’ll be a few months late for the big spawning smallmouth, but you can catch some smaller ones and trout in the Little Pigeon River. Wading,
    or from the bank.

Mountain home Arkansas. Floating the White River trout fishing. Go to town square on weekend nights and listen to the many musicians playing bluegrass all over the place. Real good bbq place right there as well
