Have plenty of rods already, but looking to buy a set of cheaper rods. Been looking at the Jenko Cypress Creek poles. Anyone ever used them? Thanks for any info.

Abe, depends on what you are going to use them for. I fished with some one time and they were ok. Think they are a graphite glass composite blank and like a lot of those type rods they have a parabolic bend which means the will bend way back down the rod towards handle. Be good kid poles or beginners poles. Takes a little harder hook set but pretty forgiving and not easily damaged like pure graphite. Have seen where lot of guys use them longlining jigs or pulling cranks because of that.

I think the cypress creek rods are a lot like the bnm west points... they do make them in the longer lengths tho

If you dont mind me asking, what are you trying to do with them? Southern crappie rods are pretty cheap to and they have the heavy duty series, I have a few of the 143T if you want to borrow them one weekend.
Thanks! I dont fish as much as I used to. I have some Southern rods and also B&m’s. I bought 8 new baitcasters last year and I was looking for a set of 8 poles to put them on. Dont want to spend 40-70 dollars a pole, because I have some of those already. Will use these for spider rigging an long lining.
