Anyone know what year motor this might be? It came off a old wooden boat!

Very neat. You gonna restore the old boat?

Pretty sure it’s a 1949. Going to load the boat and trailer on my 16ft trailer tomorrow afternoon and wash it off all the dust before bringing it to our shop. We brought the motor back today. My brother got it at a storage unit auction. It’s been in storage for years. It’s 13 ft long and a very solid hull. Still has all the old cable andd pulleys for steering and throttle cable. Looks like they removed the motor so it would fit in the storage space. Motor seems to have good compression. He posted pictures on a classic boat site and someone from Minnesota and Indiana or warning to make him an offer.

That’s pretty neat right there! I’d like to see it once it’s been restored
