Millinium double seat question....

I bought one last year and only used it twice. This morning, I was at a boat repair shop and saw what looked like a newer version. It had what looked like hinges where it tightens up. Mine has 4 or 5 rings that you have to adjust. This new one looked like it would be a lot easier to put together and adjust, without all the moving parts. Is this a new model, or have they always made two different models? Thanks.

G, it is Side Kick. That is exactly the one I have. The one I saw this morning was a lot nicer. Easier to adjust. I will go by there tomm and if the boat is still there, I will post pics.
