Me too. These past two years are great for improving the crappie populations in the Big 4 (less caught in the Spring and great spawns).

Tman and I drove down to that ramp yesterday and honestly, I was beyond shocked that there was not a rig parked at any ramp. I figured there would be vacations planned and guys were going to fish come H--- or high water. We have the same situation here but since KY Lake crested Monday, it's scheduled to drop over a foot a day for the next week.

If they opened the gates wide open right now it would take more than a week to drop a foot, doubt it would do it that quick.

KY Dam is discharging 400,000 cubic feet per second. They can drop the level pretty quick. I looked at the discharge at Grenada. It’s smaller than any of the 24 gates at KY Dam.

The reason why you didn't see any trucks at the ramps is because they get there limits and are gone back to the house before noon. Too cold to hang stains a ramp. The big 4 can't discharge like KY 400000 is insane.
