    Default phones

Is it smarter to buy a new phone out right, or have the cost figured into the plan..

For what it's worth, I usually buy mine used off of eBay. Of course it's not important to me to have the latest greatest phone. Also with Verizon I think I get about $25 a month discount for using my own phone.

Just add it to the plan is ok...no interest....use their money instead of yours. I thought you were gonna get a new phone last year...what you waiting on ? lol

If you have AT&T or T-Mobile look into the unlocked cell phones on Amazon. I have a Honor 7X that I got for $175 that works as good as the $800+ galaxy phones and I don't worry about breaking it or carrying insurance to replace it since it's so cheap. I usually upgrade every 1 1/2 years or so to a model that is a year or so old so I get them cheaper than the newest models that run around $400.
