you have to watch this, in my area of northern mo the danged MDC went nuts with report of ONE case back a few years and they called in the black helicopters and shot up every deer in area, close to 2000 reportedly. with the bluetongue that hit twice it ruined deer hunting for several years. hardly heard any shooting on opening day for last few years. It was from a imported deer on a farm and guy self reported it. THAT won't happen again by any of the many operators here, IF they found one they would just destroy it properly.

It's scary and the restrictions are getting real in some areas. I think two of the confirmed cases are in pretty close proximity. They have taken over 1000 samples and not had any of those come back positive. It's definitely scary for our state. But i hope these are just isolated incidents that don't become widespread. Not a conspiracy theorist but it does have me worried.

no doubt from what i've read about it, it can spread pretty fast. the scary thing is even if they can figure out what causes it and come up with a cure, how do you vaccinate a wild deer herd????
