    Default hard to believe

but had a customer from the Missouri bootheel come into my store yesterday. While his wife shopped he came back and asked about turf for his boat. He asked where I fished and I said Sardis , Enid, Butla and Norfork. He said he was at butla Wednesday and didn't do very good. BUT he pulled out his phone and proceeded to show me lots of slabs. "These were from Sardis earlier." These were from Grenada..... More Butla fish..etc. IN all some fine bunches of fish with lots of 3 pound plus. Even some strings out of "the river" wherever that was. Then I asked him if he went to Crappie.com. Nope. Never been there. WOW!!! That must mean there are folks catching mass quantities of crappie that never come here. Just hard for me to believe.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Did you tell him he was going to ruin those lakes if he kept showing everybody fish pics on his phone?

Have been to Sardis, Grenada, Enid , tippah, and Pickwick in the last 8 days . I lived on Enid 14 yrs. and caught "1" 3 lb. crappie there . 4 on Grenada in the last 41 YRS. 0 on Sardis but trying daily . Don't know if I am healthy enough to fish this hard but am attacking retirement for sure . Since I am free most days I will pay good money for him/friends to guide me for every 3 lb.crappie we can catch and pay all expenses including motel and meals but on days that nobody catches a 3 lb. crappie they pay my expenses . Anybody need help catching short fish forget Harrison, wood, Painter, I am you guy . lol (Have plenty of references to back me up ). 3 lb. plus ?, I am all in . Been trying to break 3 lb. 10 oz. since 1996 . Help needed .

I asked if he ever went and caught just 2 or 3 and he said sure. But he had some dandies. The odd part was never being on crappie.com.

Sounds like a man with his priorities straight to me, less time looking for free info on the interweb and more time on the water finding his own fish.
Thanks KnightShadow10 thanked you for this post

Nope. Quality fish. Of course nobody takes pictures of empty stringers and he surely has plenty of those days.

I guess the term "lots" of 3 lb. plus is just beyond my comprehension . We have already gone from finding his own fish to using guides scales . Just saying .
