I got an inch this morning at Longbranch, too. It's not raining nearly as hard now. Maybe it's going to slack off.

Just checked the gauge again, now 2 inches. If y'all getting it above the lake like we're getting it here our high water on the big 4 ain't going away anytime soon.

They opened the spillway at Enid this morning to minimum flow. Not going to let out a significant amount until Butla gets in
    better shape.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

The Mississippi is "supposed" to start falling near the end of March, and, obviously, the rivers flowing to it will start to drop. We will see.

That's the only thing that worries me with the spawn. Not the fishing, but the spawn. Let it get good and right and billions of eggs waiting to hatch and then BOOM: It's A no-go. Hopefully not, but it's a real possibility as we know.

They allready on beds again. It's not going to stop raining. If march warms up. The big part is over by April. Crappie in heaven this year.

No doubt they are, and no doubt it'll continue to rain (which is bad for my work), but having the water up all the way through March is always better for the spawn, as opposed to being up ALMOST all the way through March. That's for sure, and that not happening is a possibility to ponder on happening. It is what it is, though.
