I can help with a blueberry but not a blackberry cobbler. I wouldn't think the recipes would be much different.
Do you remember your Grandmother making a blackberry cobbler in a enamel dish pan? What was her recipe? I was too young to remember anything but the chigger bites!

Both of my grandmothers died when I was young. One aunt would make a cobbler in a large deep pan for church picnic with 4 or 5 layers of crust or dough. Nothing special, berries, sugar and lots of home made butter. The dough may have been made with bacon grease or lard.
My wife make's what she and the kids called "a cup a cup" cobbler. The recipe is: 1 cup of blackberries 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of self rising flour 1 cup of milk mix it all together good and place in oven for about a hour at 350°. She said you can make blueberry or peach cobblers the same way also. Quick and easy.
