Afrin is a vasoconstrictor, and is what I used to use in the ER. Saline is a preventives. Correction: flonase can cause them to bleed more easily.

If they are bleeding you probably have a sinus infection.....go to clinic get them checked out....if that is what it is they will probably prescribe anti biotics

I deal with it daily, I use a simple triple antibiotic creme, wipe it around in you nose and then just blow your nose on a tissue, don't wipe it out. May have to do it a few times first couple of days and then once a day for a bit. I use flonaise on a daily basis in order to breathe and when I feel the inside of my nose is getting dry I start with the creme and avoid much bleeding for the most part.

Agree with "G" 100%. Go to walk-in clinic and get antibiotics for sinus infection. This will not cure itself-ask me how I know!

A humidifier in your bedroom will do wonders. Also saline will help hydrate or moisten your nasal areas.
