It appears that BPS bought Ranger Boats about 3 years ago. I'm surprised that they wouldn't have had a "no compete agreement" for longer than that. I've never seen one that was less than at least 5 years, but who knows.

Would love to see a glass boat with the crappie fisherman in mind. Also would like another bay boat option.

I agree, I mean, there has to be some sort of demand for a crappie model right?!

They call it a Muskie boat instead of a Walleye boat. It has a huge front casting deck like a bass boat, and the storage compartments are not placed where they would interfere with a double seat rig. The hull is also a bit of a hybrid between a bass boat hull and a deep V, but its not as deep as a true deep V so you can still get into some shallower water than you would be able to with a true deep V. And the back deck is removable leaving room behind the seats for trolling from down in the boat instead of up on the decks.

Seems like it would be the best of both worlds between a Walleye boat and a Bass boat and would be perfect for spider rigging, pulling cranks, and because it is not a true deep v you could even do some single poling in it.
    I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.

Dang, John it would take a body builder to handle that motor. Would definitely be more than an old man like me to handle.

They have been doing it already with steer assist units. Can steer with just one hand.

Spot on, just like your console steer if it's set up right, steer with one hand very easy.

And put a dadgum livewell up Front so you don’t have to use a cooler or keep running to the back of the boat every time you catch a keeper
