    Default which depth finder ?

Since bream fishing has became a large part of what I do which side image unit would best serve finding beds ? I have used a helix-5 and may opt for a 7 inch . Any others that I should be looking at ?I typically crappie the same places (mainly brush piles) after the spawn so my elite 5 does OK for confirming locations . This unit will go on back to replace a lowrance elite 3 . Name: Video 149 0 00 00-01.jpg

Take a hard look at the Helix 10 si that BBG has on sale, its the first gen Helix just like my 12 at one heck of a price, you won't regret it.

It's more than worth the money. It may seem like a lot but after using it for awhile you will wonder why you didn't get it sooner.

At least go with a helix 9 or bigger. The 9,10 and 12 are the same strength. The 7 is nowhere as detailed as the 9 and up. Ask me how I know. My 12 shows brim beds a whole lot better than the 7.

Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.
