How sure are you of this Jimmy? Why doesn't the record state it was caught from the spillway? It notes where the fish was caught in the reservoir. Enid has 3 records total, one for the white crappie, and two for gar those two gar (one spotted and one short-nose) were recorded as being spillway catches. I'm not disputing your real life testament, it just seems odd to me that they would not differentiate that in the record book. Also, I will attach two links below, Mr. Bright does not do that 5lb 3oz fish justice in the picture where is squatted by the car. The 2nd link is a real big fish caught on Kincaid in Illinois, what a stud of fish at 4lb 8.8 oz. Not saying Mr. Brights fish wasn't the weight recorded, but it must have had some REALLY thick shoulders! I've seen the replica at the field house in Enid and it is impressive, but it is a replica.
