Default Seems like I have a little more in my farm pond

Than I thought. I fished it 6-7 times with crickets, worms and my fly rod and couldn't catch anything but warmouth. I put 700 coppernose bream in it 3 weeks ago and added a feeder at the pier. Tried a few crickets yesterday there and caught a bunch or warmouths but also caught a few decent bluegills, a few of my coppernose which are now almost 4" and even caught a huge shinner. Sucker was6" long. Everything was fat as I am and full as a tick on that fish food.

Gonna have a catch n fry day one weekend in those goggle eyes. Cricket last about 5 seconds before that cork goes under near the feeder.

Hey bud, I hate to say this......But I told ya so. You should've cleaned the pond out with chemicals before adding new fish, fertilizer, and feeding. Now you are feeding, and fertilizing warmouths, stunted bluegill, and lord only knows how many mudcat. Once again, it's gonna be best to go ahead and start over. Sorry if this hurts your feelings. I certainly am not saying this to antagonize you in any way. Just telling you that their are already lots of critters in every body of water. Before spending your hard earned money to change the dynamics of a small ecosystem, take the time and spend a little money to eradicate any undesirable species.

Try a cast net, let the feeder go off and sort thru em. But it does look like a healthy crop of the warmouth. Good thing is, they filet and eat too

Shoot Ken, you were catching bream on a 2" jig! I cleaned a few warmouth last year from Twin Sisters and mixed them up with the crappie fillets accidentally. Ate them all and never did figure out which were which.

Those Goggle-eyes eat good and fight better! Just don't throw any back, and enjoy both parts!

Well it's going to be like a box of chocolate candy "you never know what you may get" But that would make fishing that pond more interesting in my opinion.
Be safe and good luck fishing
