Small chance Friday and Saturday (30% - 40%) at the Rez looks like, lets hope it holds. Wind is more my factor these days, I will have to say I hope the big 4 gets a gully washer myself. I ain't fished the big 4 in almost 2 weeks, can't deal with low water and all the boats, handful of ramps. Been doing well off the grid though when I get the time, heck I'm wanting the 100 degree days to start myself, thin out the crowd a little..

Yep. Yep. Yep. Winds been horrible but about the norm. Folks fighting over a stump to fish. Ramps not even usable or at least safe. Wish Sardis was at least 4 feet higher. Don't see it happening this year.

Lets just hope for a wind NOT out of the Southwest for Barnett. Worst direction you could have here. Right up the gut of the lake

Nowhere to hide from a SW wind. DonDon, that big south wind Saturday made for an interesting ride back to Twin Harbours in my little boat.

Can't hide anywhere out of the wind at Sardis, regardless of wind direction.

That's where marina fishing comes in play.

If I wanted to be bored and not catch much of anything. Though I will say my son and I limited out two straight days fishing those petrified rocks one year. Others constantly passing us by coming and going. I kind of though it was funny. I'm sure there might be a moment catching them at the marina but not often.
