    Looks good DD. Don't know much about chestnut trees. Are they the ones that produce a nut inside of a prickly husk that burst open after dropping to the ground? You will love the coppernose.

    Yeh. That's them. The Dunston variety is what they recommend for wildlife. It's got blossoms on a couple of them now. I bought older trees

    My BIL out some copper nose bream in a pond. They get pretty big fairly quickly. A cricket has a life expectancy of seconds when it hits the water. They will hit flies pretty good too.

    He said by the fall with me feeding them that some would be big enough to eat. I'll just catch a few later this summer on the flyrod to mess with em
