    Default Sardis White Bass Help

Any suggestions for areas on the lake right now to catch a lot? I wanted to take a friend so she can catch a bunch. I fished in the river the other day just on the bank and caught 3. Went back next day and none. I'm thinking they haven't started moving up in the river in numbers yet.

Don't get me wrong either. I'm a big time Crappie guy. Just looking for something I know easy and fun to catch for her.

    Preferred lure?

White little george or any chrome shallow running crankbait . Sign 5 point on Enid is worlds best white bass destination . try also the rocky point between love joy and rowsey if there is any water there . Anyone who spider riggs sign 5 will confirm . lol

Fish are in the main river above Wyatts, but not enough water to push them up to Hwy. 7 new bridge area yet. Where were you fishing from the bank?

Actually Wyatts boat ramp and within a couple hundred yards either direction. Caught 3 in the boat ramp itself. Guess they came in from the current. Probably need to put my boat in and head down river as far as I can stay in the river. Don't like when it comes out over the bank. Gets dangerous for me. I can't ever figure out the twist turns of that dang thing.

Go up the river and look for eddys, run in ditches, and deeper bends. Fish Road Runners, jigs under a float, small crankbaits. Anything white or chartruese is good.
The fish are going to be trying to get further upriver as the lake slowly rises. They are there, you just have to search a little.

Run the river into the lake. When it's about a foot deep there they are. Will bite anything you throw at them.

They are fun to catch!!!! I'd say if anyone trying to get a kid hooked on fishing, start with something they can catch easily so they can gain some enthusiasm.
