    Default Sad news moon lake


    Just saw on evening news, 2 fishermen been missing since yesterday afternoon. Parts of boat found still nothing on fishermen. Wear them life jackets, especially fishing in these windy conditions. Prayers for their family's.

    darn i was down there at a friends place for a fish fry yesterday. left there about 3 headed home. gonna try to call one of them now...

    whewww, just talked to my buddy. he said they were commercial fishermen that have been hauling in 4-5 thousand pounds of trash fish a day out of moon and taking them to a processing plant for shipments overseas. these are huge boats and they think the wind flipped it over with a 150 hp engine on it and the two guys may be trapped under it. it sunk immediately according to some. as of tonight they have still not found them..

    I looked up the story last night. It stated that the state had suspended the search but no reason was given. That friends and family were still searching, unsure of the search method.
