It was a good workout, good food and door prizes. A good turnout with 182 total head count.
was a large success. Tons of brush(Large cedar limbs with larger than usual weights) put out. Had 136 volunteers plus around 15 folks that cooked and
set up the maintenance shop for lunch that were not signed in. With that many
people helping, no one was overworked and all three sights were finished by 11:00.
Kyle and some of the Corps people were coming behind us and driving stakes in a
crisscross pattern into some of the larger piles. Afterwards everybody had a good
lunch and they drew for some nice prizes including a 1436 G3 boat donated by Tracy
Williams of Performance Marine and another vendor (Sorry) who's name I can't
come up with. Started out a little cool but within an hour or so the temp was
just right to work in. It was a good day. I hope the fish appreciate it.

Also, we were told that Enid Habitat Day will be the first Saturday in February for future years.
Tell'em I'll be there.
That's good to know, folks can plan that way. Almost an inch of rain here this morning, hopefully we will see some rise pretty soon.

Sounds like a great day. Very nice thing for Tracy and Performance Marine to do by donating a job boat!!!
We only sell the Best. Ranger, Xpress, Yamaha, Suzuki, Tohatsu.
It was a great turn out. Thanks to all who sponsor and who put on the event. Great food, prizes, great looking shirt. Everything went well with no accidents!I was there with a couple friends from work and after we had trailered and were heading for some chow we got a call on the phone and a young kid whose dad we work with had buried his Arctic Cat. So back off the trailer we went and with 3 4-Wheelers winched together we couldn't budge him.We all decided to get help from the Rangers after we ate.Whats ironic was after all that winching he had a dead battery. At the luncheon, he won a brand new marine deep cycle battery. Go figure! Looking forward to the next one.

Yep, was a good time for sure. Canebreaker wanted me to share some pictures for him of the bamboo beds we set out.
Set out a good many of those and doctored on some others that were from last year. Next stop Sardis lake next weekend, if they put on half the event Enid does then we should be in good shape.![]()

Cool.
Be interesting how many of those are still there when the water falls next fall.

How do you find out when habitat days are going to be? I call myself watching the forum for it but did not see anything about it.
