How does one go about trapping for ground hogs? What kind of bait do you use?
They appear to be furry, oversized rodents that bury themselves. But they could be that "chicken on a stick" at the local China buffet restaurant!

Guess if I was gonna eat them critters I would do them with dumplings. Favorite way to eat tree rats, squirrel and dumplings should work with any rodent I'm guessing.

Actually they are pretty good...have had them several times when I was in Ohio, but I never got in on the actual cooking...I used to drink a little more back then also😊😊

Keep in mind that I only have experience with road kills. Clean them up good and par boil them for about 45 minutes
over medium heat. Then tie them to a roasting stick and cook them a few hours over an open fire. You can tell when
they are done when the back leg starts to try to come off when you turn it. Salt, pepper, tyme, rosemary, and any other
seasoning you like can be applied while cooking. We always used car tires to add a little additional smoke. Enjoy.
    Tell'em I'll be there.
