They said it would be on by 10:30 they just weren't sure of the time zone or am/pm
I went shopping yesterday in a tee shirt, 78 degree. I sit down to dinner at 8 pm and the power goes out. Hunt a flashlight down and call to report the outage. We have a few calls from your grid, power should be back on at 10:30 pm.
Power was still out when I woke this morning, 26 outside, 48 inside. I get out of bed long enough to add a pair of socks, another pair of pj's, a flannel shirt and a knit cap. We stayed in bed with the pups until the power came on at 11:40. Then run to all the heaters to turn them on high, plus add one to the living room. 61 now and getting warmer.
Ours went out about midnight last night, not sure when it came back on but when we woke up around 630 it was on.
As far as heat, won't ever be without gas heat, who cares if the powers off long as we got gas!!!!

Get a big generator , to heck with cutting wood . lol
I have one 3 burner radiant heater in the den and 2 other hooks ups in the house if it stays out very long. Thinking about changing one of the hot water tanks to gas as well.
