    Precision Sonar - Sonar Accessories, Classes & Tips
    Check this out Torch, scroll to bottom of page. They show a cable standoff system. Looks like you could probably build one yourself.

    Just buy a new ultera and be done with it. I have 2 and I have no regrets. I have a saltwater model and the freshwater model and love them both. The foot pedal is removeably and not built as one unit
