Default b&m 4'10" with okuma line counter

Just wondering if anyone snagged my reel out of Enid. Something wanted it more than my rod holder did last year just to the right as you come out of persimmon hill cove.. Taught me not to angle them so low and back so much. Odd but they are good little rigs for that last position in the holders. When it happened I figured the pink bandit might float up but nope.

The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

That little 410 is a good little rod for sure, I usually set them back where the reel is behind the outside of the holder being as they don't have much handle.

I place all my reels behind the front "Y" on my holders. Lost two in the lake before I learned better. Couldn't be my cheaper rods either, one was my favorite.

The 4'10 is about as cheap as you can get!

I just figured by now somebody had cranked it up. although whatever swiped it probably took it on a Nantucket sleighride.

good rods, thanks for suggesting them reese, own 4 of the 410`s 2 for crank spread and 2 for my longline setup
I lost one last year in the lake also, running it 90 deg. off the side and a catfish pulled it out of the holder while i was reeling in a fish on another rod.Now i run them straight back and angled up with no problems.I will say when i carry someone new fishing i want them to catch a big cat on the 410,its funny watching them trying to get it in on the short rod with no leverage

Remove the reel and slid a 4 to 6" piece of swimming pool noodle up the handle, in front of the reel seat. Us a couple cable ties to hold it in place. Or go to hardware store and get some brown/black foam pipe insulation and do the same. Small noodles have a 1/2" hole. medium noodles have a 3/4" hole and large noodles have a 1" hole. I have a set of pink ones for my rods.
