Thread: Stratos Pro 285 project boat update

This has been the tuffest week of my life but I have a good start on getting Goodtime's Stratos together. Will post some pics as it progresses.

Got 2 motors mounted today, should be ready to fire off in the morning. May have to lower the outboard but that no big deal.

Never met you guys but feel like I know you through the forum over the years. Reading this and knowing how heavy John's (I think that is Rees Guides name, forgive me if not) heart has to be as he completes Bigtime's project boat I share your loss and your sorrow. Take comfort in knowing he was blessed to have friends like you.

Thanks guys, I just fired her up so with a few more things done age may get to ride this afternoon. Got one major thing left before that CA happen, we will see.

Goodtime (Mike) knew what he was doing when he gave that boat to John. He gave him a project to keep him busy. John and I talk daily to keep each other going and for that I am eternally grateful. Can't wait to take it out for the first time.

Statos has has had its maiden voyage with new power. John has a few things to do to get it right but it's got power now.
