How big is hole? Have you ever seen rubber freeze plugs? All parts stores have them. Buy for hole size insert and tighten nut to expand

You'd just have to adjust the houses running to the livewell is all. But I'm trying to remember. I think it was welded or maybe the drain pipe was secured from under the floor so it might not be as easy as it looks. You'd have to take the floor up one way or the other though to adjust. I use a cooler and ice anyway so it was just in my way. I like my fish cold when I get back to clean.
