I guess the control panel isn't working right. It's been in a storage building for a while. I get the green light when I press the on button. I press the temp button and get the air temp of 63, run it up to 225 and it won't set, keeps flashing. I try to set the timer, no plus or minus action.

I had to call master built about mine. They were helpful. Might even send you what ever parts you need. Yet sent me a new element for free. Then when that didn't fix it they sent a new smoker.

If it's digital pull the panel off the top and it has a connector on it. Mine somehow got loose and I reconnected it, and been working fine.

An email from Masterbuilt got it going. I wasn't holding the buttons down up to 30 seconds. Only about the 100th time cooking in it and first time like this. Usually get it going in less than a minute. Once the temp got to 225 the picnic was moved from the oven to the smoker.
