    Default battery question

Do I have to use the same SIZE battery if I want to hook up two 12v parallel? I have an Optima D27M for my TM, and can get the D31M for just a few dollars more. The 31 is a stronger battery. Will I mess up stuff with two different sized batteries for my TM??

If that's what I had, that's what I'd run. The only difference is the footprint and the amp hours ratings. You might have discharge issues if the 27 is an older battery. They will tend to equalize on charge.

Jimmy, only problem is like Mrdux said, if your 27 is kinda week it will try to pull off your new battery and equalize. But if still in good shape it will definitely increases your run time and really won't damage anything electrically.

Thanks guys....think I made my decision to go with another same size and model....but only after I satisfy myself that one battery won't do the job.
