Fedx gets to Memphis and at my house the next day. Unless shipped Smartmail.

Every UPS shipment I have gotten in the last 10 years comes into memphis then to Hernando unless it comes out of Texas then it goes to Jackson,Memphis, Hernando.

I ordered some supplies from PSA one morning. Watched tracking, it was at Jackson, MS that evening. At Southaven during the night and out for delivery the next morning.
A similar order from Wideners in Johnson City, TN was delivered 9 days after ordering.

Yeh...You really cannot go by USPS tracking......I had a package come from Florida....two day priority mail.....it took 7 days to get here and all tracking showed was the time and date it got to first post office....it was never updated after that. I recieved the package and tracking showed same thing for two more days and then finally it said delivered.

USPS Tracking, not much to it. They scan the barcode when you mail it, then they scan it when it gets to the destination, and again when it is delivered. I ordered a depth finder today, it is being shipped UPS. Tracking says it will be here on Monday and I have no doubt it will be. I formerly worked closely with the Postal Service and most the folks there are just looking to get to retirement, not really interested in good customer service. They are not held responsible for making a profit as shareholders expect from UPS and FEDEX It is now mostly run by women, most of the Viet vets that were hired have gotten to retirement age and left.

Here's my newest delivery. I ordered it on friday 03/11 10 am, USPS ground estimated delivery 03/15-03/18.
Arrived Memphis 03/13 8:14 pm, Arrived Southaven Hub 38671 03/14 4:42 am, Arrived Southaven Post Office 38672 03/14 7:18 am, Sort complete 7:34 am. Out for delivery hasn't been posted at 10 am.
