Does anyone know what's going on at Ed's Prop Shop in Memphis? Been by there several times and the sign says they're open but the door is locked. Looked thru the window and it is stocked like they are in business. There is also a for rent sign on the window. I called the phone number and its says the mail box is full. Anyway I need some prop work done and just wondering what is going on

Well crap just my luck. Guess i'll have to find a new prop repair shop. Thanks for the info.
i got one that needs repaired also. anyone got advice on a prop shop local to hernando?
the view is better from the backroads
not very local to hernando but Ive deal with The Prop Shop in Iuka and they did my prop some good
I have used Dyna Prop up in MO. before. Made my prop look like new.
I heard this guy repairs props in Memphis, but I haven't used him yet. He's retired and does them in a shop at his house so I was told. Might give him a shout.

My old boss went to high school with the guy who most recently owned Ed's (not the original owner) and I had mentioned a couple years ago that I had dropped a prop off for some work and it took months to get it back, he told me the guy hired "crack heads" and constantly had trouble with the help.
I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.
Mark croxton, mark's high performance props. Mark's High Performance Propellers, Inc.
Known far and wide as THE man for high performance props. Dunno if he fools with aluminum props for run of the mill 40s and such, but if he does you won't find better work.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Past that, I had good luck with the prop shop in Jackson on aluminum props before.
