We ran it Christmas Eve, still trying to get right pitched prop. Looked like engine is going to have to come up 1 maybe 2 holes. Only getting 5300 to 5400 rpm right now.

Weather is crazy right now I had flip flops and shorts on running a boat wide open and didn't get cold on the day before Christmas.

Hoping to fish with it this coming week! We have been without a boat for a month so we are having withdrawals. Fishing withdrawals might not be so bad if our duck and deer season was worth a flip, both have been terrible here this year!

    Slade,

You mentioned that you figured out how to mount a SI transducer on the Minn Kota Ulterra. Please pm me or text me on what you found, going to work on mounting electronics Monday or Tuesday.

    Thanks,
    James

I didn't figure it out but I did see it posted on the fishing electronics thread page 2 halfway down. Guy named LJones posted it. I love the idea and believe it will work for sure. I took pics on my phone and will txt em to ya so you can zoom in on it. I will try mine out hopefully on Tuesday and see how it goes. I am going to put a protective plastic sheath around my cable so if my ulterra does pinch it.... hopefully it wont cut my cable.

She's a pretty good gal!!! I missed netting a big crappie at the boat last year on Grenada. It was touch and go for a few days as far as having boat privileges and being her fishing partner. Still have not heard the end of that one. You know the old cliche' the big one got away! Lol
