    Default Fish finder Help

Looking to purchase a new finder. I don't troll and mainly single pole jig fish. With so much out of water structure now gone, I wouldn't mind having something to locate good underwater structure, etc. Not so schooled on modern technology. Mostly use mine now to make sure I don't run aground and not find fish.

Cabella's has on sale. Any thoughts on any of these or the one's I have checked? Not looking for way overboard, but maybe just update to show clarity, steak beds, stumps, etc. $300 range.

Thats what I have on the front of boat and I love it ( helix 5 with sonar and DI and GPS ). If you can spring some more bucks get the 7 instead of the 5.....bigger screen although the 5 is ok....bigger screen is always a plus.

I just got a helix -5 with side and down image(on back) . nice little unit . Also put a bird 678 on front . this is a good unit if you use a hand control gps . check with Brian before you buy . Both were cheaper than anywhere I looked . Both are color units .Brian is a sponsor @ BBG marine .

Call , Brian will answer . 888-570-0916 or 770-529-8880 . I have bought from him a couple of times . great prices , fast delivery and stands behind his products . One of my knobs on a depth finder was not in package from factory . Had one in two days .
