    Default Don't you love craigslist?

You find an item that you want.
The only contact is through an email.
You send a message 2 times everyday for a week without a reply.
You get to wondering if this person doesn't check their emails or they forgot they have an account with craigslist?
Dang, delete the ad when the item is gone.

If I sent an email to spam when I get another one from the same site or person it will go to spam. If I send it back to the inbox without opening it will still go the spam a few times before being in the inbox from then on. If I open it in spam then send to the inbox it will take a lot more emails to get it to go directly to the inbox.

I answered an ad this morning about pallets and lumber with a text. After my son left I called to get the address, in the hood. He told his wife I wouldn't be coming to get it. I carried a trailer with the truck, but forgot straps. I got a good load, but not all of it. He asked if I would be coming back to get the rest. I said no, I'll share.
The ad was removed when I checked after unloading.

The ad is 15 days old, 30 emails and not the first reply.

In my first experience with CL several weeks ago, I put my fiberglass lid cover for my pickup up for sale.....within 30 minutes a guy said he wanted it and would come by after work to look at it.....within 2 hours from the time I placed the add it was gone....at my price...no haggling......I tried for 4 weeks to give this thing away and couldn't......yes, I will use CL again.....

I have bought and sold items on Craigslist. Just have to remember that along with the 95% of good people that deal straight up, there is the 5% who are either or crooks or clueless, sometimes both!!

Crooks are plentiful on CL. Be very careful.

In the spring I answered one with free pea gravel. "Yes, come and get all you can." I got 2 loads and sent a message that I'd be back everyday to get 2 or 3 loads until I have what I need. "Oh, we didn't meet this morning, I've made other arrangements, enjoy what you got."

I have had two experiences on Craigslist, both positive. (Bought a rod, sold a rod.)

    Still, I prefer Ebay.
