Thread: Hug your kid's you never know

I am writing this through tear filled eyes. SlabLapper recently posted about Ms Marsha's untimely loss of her son. I just could not imagine how that felt and how she could handle that. And now I am faced with the same thing. My 35 year old son passed away Wed evening from an apparent heart attack. We had been estranged for most of his life because of a really bad divorce and as usual in those situations the kid's are the ones that suffer. But over the last couple of years we had been talking and trying to rebuild our relationship. The last conversation we had was about 10 months ago and the last thing he said to me which he never had was Dad I Love you. I am not writing this looking for sympathy but to share with what I consider to be my extended family. I would urge each and everyone of you to not miss a chance to tell your loved ones you love them and give them a hug if you can. And if your so inclined you might lift up a small prayer for this Crusty ole Geezer cause I sure could use em. Thanks for letting me express myself here.
